FileZilla Icon There are many FTP programs to choose from. Heart Cooks Brain suggests using the FileZilla client — a free, full-featured and open-source application which is available for Windows, Mac (OS X 10.5+) and Linux platforms. You can download FileZilla by visiting the projects website at: http://filezilla-project.org/.

FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. Heart Cooks Brain offers our clients the ability to connect to our servers using both standard FTP and SFTP (Secure FTP). We recommend using SFTP whenever possible. When in SFTP mode your connection is fully encrypted.

To complete this guide you will need the settings provided to you when we created your account, you can find the required information in the “Welcome Aboard” Email.
